The Vault expands custody coverage to six new networks

The Vault adds custody support for Base, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche, bringing coverage to effectively the entire stablecoin market and around 85% of global on-chain stablecoin settlement volume.

Institutional custody is only useful if it covers the networks where assets actually move. This release extends The Vault's coverage to six additional networks: Base, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, and Avalanche, alongside existing support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron.

Coverage where the supply sits

Together, these networks now bring custody coverage to roughly 96-97% of circulating USDT and around 80% of circulating USDC, effectively the entire stablecoin market, on a single platform.

Coverage where liquidity actually moves

Supply is only part of the picture. The larger shift is Base, now the single largest network globally by stablecoin settlement volume, ahead of both Ethereum and Tron. Adding Base moves The Vault's coverage of global on-chain stablecoin settlement volume from roughly half to approximately 85%.

In practical terms, clients can now safeguard and settle assets where liquidity is actively moving, not only where it happens to be held.

Together, these additions bring custody and settlement onto the same footing. More networks are on the way as we close the remaining gaps.
